The Anchorage Police Department is now hiring 20-30 APSC certified officers, or equivalent, for a lateral academy starting April 28th, 2008. The academy is 8 weeks long and operates Monday thru Thursday, 0700-1800 hours and is a non-residential program. The wage while in the academy is $27.89 per hour.
